Terms of service

Meterlark is an AI model pricing reference and spend-tracking tool. It publishes prices we've checked against a provider's own pricing page and computes cost from the token counts you or your CSV import give it. It is not a billing platform, does not connect to your provider accounts, and does not guarantee that any figure it shows matches your actual invoice — always verify against your provider's own billing for anything that matters financially.

You need an account to save projects, usage entries and estimates. You must be at least 18, or using Meterlark on behalf of a business you're authorised to bind. Keep your credentials confidential and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access. You're responsible for the accuracy of the usage data you enter and for activity under your account.

The Free plan and Pro plan are described on the pricing page, which forms part of these terms. Pro is billed monthly or annually through Stripe. You can cancel anytime from your billing settings; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for, and your account then moves to the Free plan and its limits. We may change prices for future billing periods; we'll give notice before a change affects an existing subscription.

Don't use Meterlark for anything unlawful, don't try to circumvent its security or rate limits, and don't scrape or resell the pricing dataset itself — use the public API instead, which exists for exactly that. Don't rely on Meterlark's figures as a substitute for your own provider's billing statements, and don't upload usage data that infringes someone else's rights.

You own the project and usage data you enter or import. You grant us only the licence needed to store it and display it back to you to run the service. You're responsible for the accuracy of what you enter and for having the rights to any file you upload. We may remove content that breaches the acceptable use section above.

We check model prices against official provider pages and label anything we couldn't independently verify. Provider pricing can change without notice; we aim to catch changes promptly but don't guarantee every figure is current at the moment you view it. Always confirm against the linked source before making a decision that depends on an exact number.

We aim to keep Meterlark available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to pause the service for maintenance, and features that depend on third parties (such as Stripe billing) depend on those providers being available too.

Content on Meterlark is provided for information purposes. We do not guarantee that every price is current, or that following our cost figures matches what a provider will actually bill you. Always verify against the official source we cite, and against your own provider invoice, for anything financially material.

Meterlark is provided on an as-is, as-available basis, without warranties beyond those that can't be excluded by law. To the extent permitted by law, our liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

You can stop using Meterlark and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms. On termination your access ends; your data is handled as described in our privacy policy.

We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, tell account holders by email.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. Questions: email hello@meterary.com.
